How to go about getting things sorted

Incidents and/or complaints, such as burst water pipes, electricity supply disruptions, grass verges that need cutting, refuse which has not been removed, illegal dumping, traffic problems, illegal hawker problem, vermin removal, and any other issues which the authorities should be made aware of, must first be made to the City of Johannesburg Peoples Call Centre on (011) 375-5555.

When engaging the Customer Relations Agent, please explain your concern and insist on receiving a REFERENCE NUMBER which ensures that your complaint has been logged and can be followed up.

Then please pass the reported issue and its specific reference number to the Parkmore Community Association’s Executive Manager, Brian Robertson on e-mail: manager@parkmore.org.za who will follow up and report back to you.

NOTE: It is critical to report any and all issues that are of concern to you. It achieves two results, viz. the City of Johannesburg Council/Service Departments hears about community concerns and specific faults, and it provides targets for the respective department to respond and to gauge their performance against correcting the fault with its reference number
