Suspect Arrested by 24/7 Reaction Officers in Parkmore.

A suspect was arrested by vigilant 24/7 Response Officers in Parkmore on Wednesday, 28 February.

Five suspects entered a house on Allendale Road. They left their vehicle idling outside the house. The domestic worker raised the alarm, and the suspects fled first to a property on Mattie and then to one on Woodland.

24/7 Security and several other security companies tracked down the suspects. One suspect pointed a firearm at the approaching Officers, to which one of the 24/7 Security Officers responded by returning multiple shots. The suspects fled towards Field and Study.

Several 24/7 Security units and Senior Management attended the scene, and CCTV footage was viewed. Evidence is being analysed, and further information will be shared once the investigation is concluded.

One of the suspects was apprehended and arrested by SAPS. 24/7 Security is working closely with SAPS on the incident.

We urge residents to ensure that they and their domestic staff wear their panic buttons at all times and that the buttons and alarms are charged at all times.

Report suspicious people, vehicles and activities to the 24/7 Security Command Centre on 011 444 2237
